I was in Barcelona at the end of April for my friends hen do. And although I came away with something I didn’t want (a broken foot) we had a great time!
I like doing these quick iPhone guides as it doesn’t take too much planning. It also means I can live a little bit more in the moment than I would behind a professional camera. These photos are a little rough around the edges but I think it works for something like this, don’t you?
This was never meant to be a huge post about Barcelona but I wanted to post something as Barcelona holds a special place in my heart. I’ve spent quite a lot of time there with friends and we’ve made some amazing memories. If I was going to tell you to visit anywhere I would say Flax & Kale is a great shout, they have some really interesting dishes and the interiors are super Instagram-worthy.
We stayed in a great apartment which is located behind La Boqueria Market, it is actually a yoga retreat through the week. It’s perfect if you are travelling with a large group of people. It has an amazing little outdoor terrace too, perfect for early morning breakfasts in the sun.
