Fashion: Autumn Edit

With the temperatures dropping (anyone else not holding their breath for the ‘indian summer’ we keep hearing about?) my thoughts turn to my autumn wardrobe. I love this time of year because I find the clothes so much more inspiring. I might long for the sun but my wardrobe longs for Autumn Winter. I’ve had my eye on a couple of things which I wanted to share with you all.
I love my suede short jacket from Mango, so swapping to a long version seemed like the only choice for colder months. This one is from La Redoute, not really suede but at the bargain price of £39 I think it will do the trick. The belted waist gives you some definition too, as I feel bigger coats can often leave you feeling too bulky.
This cream bell sleeve top from New Look is such a versatile piece. You can pair it with a skirt, jeans or wear it under a pinafore dress. I love the tie-front too, I think it’s really flattering and makes it a little different from the average blouse.
This suedette midi skirt, also from New Look, is a great length for the colder months. If you’re feeling brave you can go without tights. Or grab a pair of 100 denier when the temperatures really drop and pop on some ankle boots.
Speaking of ankle boots, how amazing are these snakeskin pair from Topshop? A little bit of retro mixed with rock and roll, these beauties are not going to be leaving my feet. The heel isn’t too high either so it’s the perfect everyday boot.
Lastly we have the cord pinafore midi dress adds some jewel tones to your winter wardrobe. Layer over a stripy t-shirt, slip on the snakeskin boots and your good to go!

Damn, I love those boots. Could easily have been Gucci.
