I’ve taken a break from blogging that I actually didn’t mean to do. I don’t really have an excuse either, I haven’t been busier than usual. I felt like I just needed to step back for a little while and think about the content I want to create.
I’ve always put some self-imposed rules in place, like I must blog three times a week. I have to admit though with a full time job and needing a break from screens that can sometimes be really hard to do. I think maybe the aim for me is to create two really good posts a week that I can be proud of and that I think are helpful to everyone reading.
With this been said I’m taking my first steps back into blogging with a little bit of a summer wish list post. I’m heading to Barcelona in a couple of weeks and I’m determined to have a city break wardrobe to be proud of. Does anyone else find when they jet-off that their personal style goes out of the window. It’s like ‘I’m on my holidays’ so I wear ridiculous prints that I’d never wear at home or things that I just don’t feel comfortable in; in an effort to be wearing as little as possible in the heat.
Not this time, I’m carefully planning what my holiday wardrobe will look like and it includes the above pieces. I already have the Castaner espadrille wedges that you’ve seen on every influencer going, the thing is though they are worth the money as they are the comfiest shoes ever. I would finish off any summer look with a sweep of bronzer – this one from Becca looks like a winner.
What does your summer wardrobe look like? Do you tend to stick to your same style or venture off?
